It is the first itinerary of the net created by the committee of Landandè as soon as it was born, in 2010, thanks to the shopkeepers of Vicoforte and the support of the local administrations of Vicoforte, Briaglia and Niella Tanaro. The path is 22 km long and it spreads from South-West, at the Sanctuary of Vicoforte to North-East at the chapel of San Teobaldo in the town of Niella Tanaro. The highest altitude is at Colle della Guardia (628 metres a.s.l.), the lowest near brook Otteria (380 metres a.s.l.). Covering the whole itinerary, the difference of altitude is about 800 metres, in continuous rises and descents and few flat parts. This is the more “deep in the green” path, especially in the area of Briaglia. It is surly perfect for MTB rides, with some gaps can can be easily covered in downhill, but that force the majority of people to push the bike uphill.
