The itinerary was created as a variation of the long pavement that connects the last historical houses of rione Piazza with the beautiful Chapel’s road, less appreciated by walkers, even if flat. But the variation created a short one-hour loop itinerary that is a great walk among nature, just outside the town. It is 3.8 km long, with a positive difference in altitude of 161 metres. Starting from Piazza D’Armi the itinerary goes down in the road of “Gius” and it ends between a wood and a meadow to the chapel of Mater Christi. From here we return on asphalt road on the interesting via delle Moglie. We cross the provincial road and reach a hazelnut orchard and then the Chapel’s road. At this point we follow the pavement to return in Piazza D’Armi passing in front of the chapel of Santa Croce that safeguards important frescoes.
