The Monasterolo Casotto Petal inaugurated in 2021 is extended till the sanctuary dedicated to Madonna della Neve of Viola. The itinerary is about 14km long, with a height difference of 840Mt. The lowest point is located in the upper village of Monasterolo at 817mt above sea level, while the highest is at the Big Bench of Viola at 1.167 Mt above sea level. The whole route alternates parts through the chestnut woods and meadows. In the upper part it partially overlaps the path of Viola called “Tre fontane e na piatsa”. At the Madonna della Neve sanctuary there is a beautiful single-track path suitable for MTBs that leads to the intersection of the 4 roads. On the other hand, it is recommended for pedestrians only to climb to the Viola bench as it is a path not suitable for bicycles. The ring can be covered in 4 hours.
